The ancient peoples of the Mediterranean have relied on the fruits of the
olive tree for thousands of years for a variety of food and medicinal purposes.
In modern times the Spanish, Italians and Greeks continue to produce and consume much of the world’s olive oil.

In recent years, Australia has established a reputation for producing extremely high quality olive oils.  Australian consumers and culinary experts are switching their preferences to the fresh, local products.

In 2008 we planted some 30,000 olive trees.  This 42 hectare olive orchard is one of the highest groves on the planet (hence “oil with altitude”).  Over time, we expect to plant an additional 100,000 trees. Currently we have planted Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, and Abequina, and expect commercial harvest in 4-5 years.
